The OC192/STM64 to 10G/1G
S2E 2026 Distributed TAP has two OC192/STM64 XFP ports, two 10G XFP
ports, and twenty-four 1G SFP ports that allow for flexible traffic
access and forwarding to monitoring tools. The two 10G POS (OC192,
STM64) network ports allow for conversion of Packet over SONET/SDH (POS)
traffic into 10G and / or 1G Ethernet output for monitoring
applications. Users have complete control over how the TAP, operating
fully at layers 1 and 2, refines and delivers traffic to their selected
passive monitoring tools with VSS' Base feature set.
